I'm Valentin and I made this site in an effort to a) take more time to put my thoughts into words; b) share random bits of my life online; c) embrace internet culture away from the algorithms, profit-orientation, and stressful atmosphere of modern social media. I have very fond memories of having a lot of fun on the internet as a kid - roleplaying in forums, sharing art and writing, and scrolling endlessly through other people's pages. (I was an awkward teen and I did the previously mentioned things most often in a horse breeding online game, but the point stands.)

I'm currently pursuing a masters degree in a weird niche field at the intersection of environmental and data science. I might share some of the stuff I do for uni on here so it doesn't forever rot at the bottom of my harddrive. (What else can you do with some mediocre second-semester project?) I also want to write about the stuff I watch/read/play, general life updates and thoughts, and, y'know, whatever else comes to mind. This is a work in progress and I'm letting it shape itself over time.
